The most advanced build in the FIZZ range. Soft hands, hard drives.

APEX uses a 16mm full EPP foam core — no honeycomb — so the ball compresses, dwells and releases instead of bouncing off the face. That dwell is what gives you touch at the kitchen. The elongated head and the perimeter energy ring are what give you the drive. You don't choose between them.

Product details

Full foam core. A completely different feel.

Honeycomb cores — used in SPARK and EDGE — reflect energy. Foam cores absorb it, regulate it, and return it with control. APEX's EPP high-density foam inner core absorbs impact and gives it back as precise, consistent ball feedback. You can feel exactly where the ball is on the face.

Around the perimeter, a serrated EVA energy ring acts as a spring system, storing and releasing energy on hard shots. Add the leverage of the elongated head and APEX drives as hard as you ask it to. It has the lowest swing weight of the three and the most face flex — the soft game is what the foam gives you, not what it costs you.

Foam also runs quieter than honeycomb. On a court with neighbours nearby, or at a club watching its noise, APEX is the quietest paddle we make.

The elongated shape extends your reach at the net. The foam-isolated handle connection dampens vibration from the handle up — so the feel you get from the face isn't contaminated by rattle from the grip.

If you want the whole game in one paddle — the touch and the drive — APEX is the one.

“Control is dialled in and design is slick. Plays exactly how it looks.”
